Governing Structure

Founding President's Pledge

"The Ontario Coalition of Aboriginal People values accountability, transparency and community empowerment.  We will prioritize strengthening our families and Aboriginal identify by recognizing the traditional roles of Women's leadership, the Elder's wisdom, and men as warriors and protectors.  We will teach these ethics to our future, the Youth.  We will collectively exercise our inherent right to gather; Wildlife to clothe and feed us, Berries to sustain us, Water to purify us and Land to provide a place for us to belong.  Creator I ask your strength and guidance for our people in our fight to exist as free Aboriginal People".
